With the long jumpers and cardigans coming out for the winter season I have put my bangles and bracelets back in my jewellery draw so had to find something else to spice up my outfits.

The solution to my dilemma was to start wearing rings but this caused a problem when wearing gloves so I have had to ditch the gloves if I want to look good.

Oasis have some funky Flower rings at only £8, they come in black with a silver band and blue, pink and Purple with a gold band.

They also have a facetted stone ring set on a bed of diamantes for the cost of only £12.

So all is not lost when wearing a jumper just remember the bigger the better.

Instead of dressing your outfit up with jewellery why not try adding a different touch and dressing it up with a little handbag. There are loads of different shapes and sizes out there and it doesn’t always have to cost a fortune. I love a simple LBD, high pair of stilettos and a cute little bag with a bit of sparkle on it and keep the jewellery to a minimum.

Asos has a huge selection and when you click on the picture it will give you an idea of a perfect outfit to team the bag with, I know it is trying to sell their stuff but it always helps when you are useless with outfits like me…

With Christmas just around the corner (only 29 days to go) I have been looking for some present ideas for the man or women in your life. I know you cannot buy only 1 gift so I have been looking at watches with an affordable price tag.

For the women in your life DKNY (Donna Karen New York) have some lovely watches starting from £79 and ranging up to £200 but they come as charm bracelets, with leather straps and in Gold or Silver.

For the Man in your life Emporio Armani has a large selection of watches which start at £99 and go up to £375 in a large selection of shapes, straps and colours.

I found the best and largest range of watch makers at Ernest Jones so for a full range of what the have to offer visit www.ernestjones.co.uk.

Chanel has brought out a Union Jack handbag which is a big must have for celebrities but 1 in particular Agyness Deyn. Agyness has been getting her money worth out of her £980 bag by wearing it everywhere with everything since the Chanel Temporary shop opening on Dover Street Market in London.

I love this bag and am glad Chanel chose to support the English flag by making a bag out of the pattern.. If only I could afford one on my wages, oh well we can’t have everything can we girls.

For more information visit the Chanel website or go to your nearest shop.

If you have not got the money to be spending on a new party dress why not dress up last year’s frocks with this year’s must have bib necklace.

You can wear it over your outerwear, turtleneck or a simple dress to give your basics a glamorous edge for a day at work or a day in the office.

The below item is from Net A Porter and costs £110 by designer Day Birger Et Mikkelsen. For more items similar to this log on to www.net-a-porter.com.
