Marie Curie Cancer Care has teamed up with Laura Ashley to call for donations of unwanted jewellery to raise funds for the charity. If you have any unwanted silver, gold or costume jewellery including anything odd, snapped or broken donate them to the national scheme and the charity will benefit from a share of the proceeds. The scheme was inspired by the first ever donation to the charity in 1948 - a diamond engagement ring that raised £75 at auction (equivalent to around £5,762 today). This ends the end of this month so drop any dontations to Laura Ashley shops or Marie Curie Cancer Care Shops or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk.
After searching on the internet for an unusual bracelet to wear on an upcoming night out i came across the below charm bracelet watch by DKNY which is ideal for me as I cannot live without my watch and it looks like a bracelet. It comes in either gold plated or stainless steel and is 30m water proof. The cost is £150.00 each and can be purchased at Beaverbrooks.
If these are not to your taste DKNY also do a stone set Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch (see below) for the same price as the 2 above which can also be found at Beaverbrooks.
Bangles are due to take centre stage on the accessories front for this summer. Be sure to seek out the cool and quirky designs of Central Saint Martins-trained Disaya Prakobsantisukh.
My particular favorite is the metallic zip creations as shown below. These were on the Vogue website and did not show a price so they probably cost a fortune

The rumours on the grape vine are that Nicole Ritchie is going to be a very busy women. She is starting her own Jewelery Line, a baby clothing line and maybe even a fragrance down the line. The jewelry is rumoured to be produced by Mouawad, the same company that Heidi Klum works with.
Nicole has stated, “It’s all costume jewelry. I like to play with jewelry and mix and match.” as seen in the picture below…
Nicole also hinted that the jewelry line will be a collaboration with “this really talented woman named Shelley Gibbs. She’s an artist and she sketches everything.”
As one of the UK’s leading contemporary jewellery designers, Mikey has created an for jewellery fro all girls since 1989. You are certainly sure to make a statement with Mikey’s eclectic collection of Necklaces, Bracelets, Earrings, Brooches, Body Jewellery, Rings, Belts and Bags.
The above earrings look like the have a jaw dropping price tag but believe it or not they only cost £18. There is only 1 problem that i find with the Mikey earrings and that is they are sometimes very heavy and hurt your ear lobes halfway through the evening.
Some of the famous faces you can see wearing the jewellery is Girls Aloud, Sienna Miller, Rachel Hunter, Cat Deeley, Paris Hilton, Peaches Geldoff, Lily Allan, Mylene Klass, Scarlett Johansson, Charlotte Church, Fearne Cotton and Dita Von Teese (only mentioning a few)..
With the wedding season in full swing i have found the perfect site for wedding jewellery for all you wedding planners who do not have the time to go traipsing the shops for your ideal Jewellery.

This has to be the funniest thing i’ve seen for a while!! The new craze with the celebrities appears to be kitting out their children in the latest fashion and now the latest bling, so when I searched the internet to see what the celebrities are making their kids wear now a days I came across this ‘beauty’.
This MONSTROUSITY is worth £6,000. It’s a converted Silver Cross Silver Shadow Pram with £4,000 worth of 24 carat gold covering the panels, wheels, spokes and handle. It has a gold leather hood with a soft fur trim and the rest of the interior is covered in blue satin. It even contains a clockwork music box in the base of the pram which plays nursery rhymes to its intended passenger.
This tacky looking article was bought from Harrods by an unnamed South African businessman. Graham Richardson and Alison Murfet who run the pram-restoring business in Lincolnshire that customized the pram said they didn’t know much about the buyer, but that they were sure it’s something even the Beckhams would be proud of. To be honest I don’t think any future Beckhams would be caught DEAD in this! It hurts my eyes to look at it’s so ugly!!
While looking for some unusual jewellery for a friends Birthday i came across the company Links Of London which sell lots of unusual rings, bracelets and necklaces for both men and women.
The sale sections is so good that i managed to get 2 items for the money i wanted to spend and they offer a free gift wrapping service so i surprised her and sent it direct to her work. If you want it to be extra special they offer an laser engraving service for a small fee.
I don’t know if i am the only one but how tacky is Play Boy Bunny jewellery.
Whenever i see any belly button bars, necklaces or earing’s i just want to shout CHAV as no one with any sense would actually wear it and be proud.
After looking on Asos.com they now even do flip flop charms, why i don’t know……
Please Please take my advice and do not waste your money on this merchandise because NO you do not look good.
