I have found a few tips on how to keep your jewellery in tip top condition.

1. only wear jewellery for appropriate tasks, eg, dont wear rings for washing up, cleaning, gardening or sports activities.
2. take jewellery off when applying hairspray, perfume or using nail varnish removers.
3. Clean all jewellery regularly using special products.}
4. When removing rings for tasks, eg going to the gym, washing up, don’t leave them by the sink always add them to your necklace or put away properly.
5. Take all jewellery off when swimming as chlorine can cause damage.

The biggest advice i can give is to never scrimp on jewellery as the cheaper it is the worst it has been made.

I have just been looking on the ‘New In’ section on the Topshop website and they do have some nice stuff in at the moment but at the same time they had some horrible items in like the Lion Ring and some bracelets but overall it looks good.

It looks like Scarf’s are going to be big this simmer and also bright coloured jewellery and also lots of bangles worn at once.

I am particularilly loving the flower studs flower-cluster-stud at £12 per pair and also the bangle sets at only £10 and you get loads of them for your money..

Engagement rings originally served a double purpose, it was partial payment for the bride and a symbol of the groom’s intentions and these are seen as the ultimate symbol of someones love.

The wedding ring is a symbol of marriage and a promise of each others love.
Diamond earrings are a common way to mark an occasion wether it be an aniversary, a birthday or just a reason to tell someone you love them.

Diamonds are known as the hardest known naturally occuring mineral and are very hard to scratch or damage (unless hit with a hammer than they will smash)

I have just had a look on Asos.com and they have a brand new section with items which are £10 and under.  There is a few bracelets and necklaces on there which arent half bad.

There is actucally a nice French Connection bangle which is priced at £4.00 (see picture below) whichi i think is a bargain too good to miss, especially with the summer coming up and all the dresses being dusted down.

asos-bangle1There is a sale on selected shoes as well with up to 50% off so whilst you are looking at the bargain jewellery why not pick up a pair of shoes as well??

Believe it or not but Evans is on fire at the moment with their selection of jewellery they have on offer at the moment, from their bracelets / bangles to their necklaces they are all gorgeous.

The white cuff’s they have for sale are going to be hot this spring / summer.

evans-cuffEvans is known to be a shop which sells clothes for the upper size (14 - 32) and actually has some cute clothes for the upper sized lady.

It is nothing to be ashamed of being a larger curvier lady, with the clothes and the accesories they have you will be wowing people wherever you go…

Why is it that the celebrities of the world get all the best things, they get free clothes, free sunglasses, jewellery to borrow for the night and when they go to the launches and red carpet events they sometimes get a party bags containing loads of the latest gadgets, jewellery, make up.
I have always associated party bags with childrens parties which you get a little colouring book, birthday cake and a crappy plastic toy that breaks within a week so i was shocked when i read that celebs get better pressi’s than kids.

I read once that celebs got a rolex watch and diamond covered i phone, why did i have to pick a boring career when i can get free top of the range accessories, but then you get the cheaky D list celebrities who always try and get an extra one for a family member or boyfriend.

A perfect example of this is Katie Price, AKA Jordan, on her show she took Peter and her Sister along for a private screening of a new clothes line (cant remember exactly who it was for but it was sports wear) and they managed to fill a Range Rover boot with clothes, shoes and more.

I am loving Primark at the moment, i went in on Sunday and ended up buying loads of jewellery as it is so cheap but that does not mean that it falls apart as soon as you wear it.

I especially loved it when they had all the pearls jewellery in, they had chunky necklaces, wrap around necklaces, head bands, bracelets and earrings.

It is not only jewellery that you can buy to bling up an outfit, they have all the new style handbags, scalfs, head bands and belts.

I know that i am not the only Primark fan so if you have any tips on what is in at the moment leave a message at the bottom.

I know I keep on banging on about Asos but it’s because it is an easy shopping experience as all you have to do is go online purchase your items than just wait for them to be delivered.

They have just brought out a new jewellery range and it seems to be a lot of bangles and rings.

There is a lot of gold, wood and white plastic involved with all of the items, i especially love the ring shown below which only costs £6 and there are lots of items to match with it.

For a look of all the items visit www.asos.com and let me know what you think.

I went shopping with my Boyfriend yesterday and we ended up in a Jewellers in Manchester City Centre as I wanted to try on some items and the lady in the shop was really distant with us as I was wearing baggy jeans, ugg boots and a jumper and my boyfriend had on jeans, trainers and jumper but when she saw what type of watch i had on her attitude towards us changed.

I think this is wrong that people judge the book by the cover as I could have gone in there and spend thousands but because she was off with us when we entered I didn’t bother buying anything.

I find this is the same when I go looking for cars, just because I am a girl in her 20’s and don’t always dress up they look at you like you are an alien.

A word of warning don’t presume we have no money just because we dont dress up to go shopping…

I am finding now that a lot of places are using discount codes for the likes of half price delivery, special offer (eg 2 for 1) and they are adding these on to their website.

For example i received a news letter from Dorothy Perkins by email today and the special offer of the moment is half price delivery when you spend over £40 if your use the code when ordering your items.  Another good online store is Asos which recently had an offer for 20% of when you use the code given to you.

There are also lots of sites out there which your can print off vouchers with discounts on which a lot of my friends use and email me the vouchers to which they think would be usefull.  I have been online today looking to see what they have on offer and there are loads of differnt items/ services you can get them for.  Eg – Ipod engraving, clothes, electrical goods, mobile phones, jewellery, flowers.

For a look at what you can get type Discount Codes in Google and have a look at what it brings up,  you may be suprised.

Let me know if you get any great offers that cant be missed.
